Will Godot 4 load this script - and what does it cost every frame?

Paste or drop the GDScript behind one scene or system - a player controller, a spawner, a HUD, an enemy - with its .tscn scene and project.godot. Your browser reads every script and checks it: Godot 3 syntax that Godot 4 refuses, an @export with no type, a node fetched before @onready, a $Path that is not in the scene, a signal handler that does not exist, lookups and load() every frame, physics in _process, movement without delta, free() instead of queue_free(), signals wired by string. Free, before you sign in, and nothing is uploaded. Then pick a lane: the audit gives exact edits for each finding, or the fix lane writes each whole fixed script - and the page re-checks both.

The games, scenes and values in the examples are invented. The first three are audits (the first also carries a saved fix run of its edited code, one click after the audit), the last a fix run; each comes with a saved model reply, so you can see the whole page without signing in or spending a credit.

Paid run

The audit rates Godot 4 syntax, lifecycle, signals and resources, confirms or dismisses every flag below, adds what rules cannot see, and gives exact before/after edits for each finding - which the page applies to your paste and re-checks.

Drop the .gd scripts, the .tscn scene and project.godot, or the scene's folder (they are joined into one paste, each keeps its path), or
Paste GDScript to price the run.

What this does, and what it does not

The check is a reading of the text, not Godot: nothing is parsed by the engine or run. Each script is lexed so strings and comments are never mistaken for code, its blocks are rebuilt from indentation so each func, loop and match has its exact extent, a pasted .tscn gives the real node tree the $Paths are checked against, and each flag carries the catalogue id it comes from and the line it points at. Checks only see what you paste: a parent script, a scene or an autoload that is not in the paste is outside the check (it is noted, not assumed), and running the scene with the Debugger open and the GDScript warnings on remains the ground truth.

The paid lanes see your paste and the page's facts. Every quote and edit they return is checked against your paste, every edit and every returned script is put back and re-checked, and a reply that repeats a credential from your paste is called out. A paste stays in this browser unless you run a lane. Derived from the agent skill @wshobson/godot-gdscript-patterns by Seth Hobson (wshobson/agents, MIT).
